Home to many of Milwaukee's largest festivals, such as Summerfest and ethnic festivals that run every weekend throughout the summer.

The Henry Maier Festival Park is located in downtown Milwaukee along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Arthritis Foundation's Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest 5K

At the Event * 5k run or walk along Milwaukee’s beautiful lakefront * Warm-up and stretch session before the race * Prize for Best Costume & Most Spirited Team * Prize for Top Fundraiser & Top Fundraising Team * Post-race celebration with beer, prizes and awards * Overall Top 3 male & Top 3 female awards * FREE post-race Sprecher beer for participants over 21 * FREE admission into the Milwaukee Irish Fest®only valid Saturday, Aug. 19 for entrance before 3:00 PM. Beer Participants over the age of 21 may visit the Sprecher Beer Garden and have their bib number checked off to receive a complimentary post-race beer. Costumes won’t slow you down! Wear an Irish themed costume. Bring your lucky charms. Run or walk with a pot-o-gold. Dance across the finish line like a leprechaun. Does anyone have more Irish spirit than you do? We want to see it! The Best Costume and Most Spirited contest winners will be announced and awarded prizes at the post-event celebration ceremony. Milwaukee Irish Festival Wristbands Participants and volunteers should visit the Wristband Tent BEFORE the race starts. Wristbands will be distributed to volunteers on the list and participants with a bib number. Wristbands will not be available after the race. Parking & Directions City of Milwaukee parking is available along the lakefront. Parking is not guaranteed and we do not have special event parking for participants or volunteers. Indian Summer Festival

Celebrate the end of the summer festival season with Indian Summer. Celebrate the music, food, culture, art and dancing of the Native tribes of Wisconsin. There will be a contest powwow, traditional foods, art, jewelry, cultural exhibits, canoe rides, fireworks and more!

Walk To End Alzheimer's in Milwaukee County

Join us in Milwaukee County at Henry Maier Festival Park, Milwaukee, on September 17 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Registration begins at 8 am with the Walk kicking off at 10 am. Register and fundraise online at www.alz.org/walk. Find online tools and ideas to raise funds, form a team, or support a walker. Fromm Petfest

Fromm Petfest is a FREE family and pet-friendly event that takes place on the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee. Petfest will host a variety of pet-focused attractions and activities, including dock diving, agility and lure courses, Kitty City, main stage presentations featuring disc dogs and pet costume contests, a pet-themed marketplace, family-focused activities, music, food and more. And yes, parking is FREE too!

AIDS Walk Wisconsin & 5K Run

Celebrating its 28th anniversary in 2017, AIDS Walk Wisconsin and 5K Run is the largest HIV fundraising event in Wisconsin. Starting and finishing on the Summerfest Grounds, the fully-supported event takes place on Milwaukee's lakefront and includes rest stops, breakfast and an opening ceremony with a celebrity Honorary Chair, all in a fun and festive atmosphere. Since its inception in 1990, the event has raised more than $12.5 million for the fight against AIDS. It is produced by and benefits the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW). Past Honorary Chairs include: Taye Diggs, Tim Gunn, Bette Midler, Clay Matthews, Ryan Braun, Magic Johnson and more. The event takes place on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
