Ice Castles are coming to Lake Geneva

The beautifully lit ice formations – aka Ice Castles – you've had to travel to the Dells, or to Stillwater, Minnesota, to see in the past are now even closer.

According to social media posts by the Utah-based Ice Castles, LLC, which organizes the spectacles around the country each winter, the castles are coming to the shores of Lake Geneva this year.

Information on that location is not yet on the company's website, but there are some details on Facebook:

and on Instagram:

Specific dates for the start and end of the Ice Castles have not yet been announced because they are weather dependent, but typically they are ready for the public by mid-January.

Stay tuned for more details as the temps begin to drop.

While you wait, here's a look at some winter fun for the whole family in Lake Geneva.
