Mitchell Airport now offers unlimited free Wi-Fi
Much to the relief of countless travelers, not least this one, General Mitchell International Airport is now offing free unlimited Boing Wi-Fi in the ticketing, baggage claim and mall areas, and on concourses C and D.
Concourse E is currently closed for conversion into a new international/domestic concourse.
Until now, the free Wi-Fi had been limited to an hour. After that, the service cost $4.95 for an hour, $7.95 for 24 hours or $9.95 for monthly unlimited service as all of Boingo's hotspots in the country.
Users who want a higher bandwith service can purchase that option.
"Unlimited free Wi-Fi has been one of the most-requested passenger amenities at MKE," County Executive Chris Abele said in a statement.
"It's exciting to roll out unlimited free Wi-Fi just in time for the busy holiday travel season at MKE."
To use the free Wi-Fi, select "MKE Free WiFi" in your wireless settings. You will be asked to either download a sponsor's app or watch an ad before connecting.
