Kick it at The MECCA and cheer on the U.S. with Women's World Cup watch parties
The MECCA Sports Bar and Grill and The Beer Garden will host a series of FIFA Women's World Cup watch parties beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11 at 1 p.m. when the United States Women's National Team (USWNT) takes on Thailand in the U.S.'s opening match of the Women's World Cup.
"Who can forget the indelible images of watch parties when Abby Wambach scored her iconic goal in the 122nd minute against Brazil in 2011 or when Carli Lloyd took over the Final against Japan in 2015?" said Bucks Vice President of Hospitality Justin Green.
"We look forward to hosting FIFA Women's World Cup watch parties for all U.S. Soccer matches from the group stages and beyond. This is a great time to come join other fans as the U.S. Women try to defend their crown in France this summer."
Fans are invited to watch all USWNT matches during the FIFA Women's World Cup at either The MECCA Sports Bar and Grill, which features a 38-foot-diagonal screen, or The Beer Garden, which features a 28-foot-diagonal outdoor screen.
Beginning later this month, The MECCA Sports Bar and Grill and The Beer Garden will also host watch parties for all United States Men's National Team CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, as well as select CONMEBOL Copa América matches.
For all FIFA Women's World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, including the group stage and beyond, in addition to select CONMEBOL Copa América matches, The Beer Garden will open an hour before kick-off, except on Sunday, June 16 when The Beer Garden will open at 11 a.m.
