Viewing party set for Panther NCAA bid

The UWM men's basketball team plays Tuesday night for the Horizon Conference title and, more importantly, for a berth in the NCAA basketball tournament.

The Panther athletic department has scheduled a viewing party for fans at Major Goolsby's, the famed sports bar Downtown. The free party starts at 5 p.m. It will include free food and Panthers gear, as well as drink specials.

The Panthers, who upset UW Green Bay over the weekend, will play Wright State in Dayton, Ohio. UWM lost to Wright State, 73-57, in Dayton during the regular season, but won a week later with a 68-64 victory in Milwaukee.

The game will be televised at 6 p.m. on ESPN.
