Torrent partners with Too Much Metal, adds 414 patch to team jerseys
The Milwaukee Torrent soccer team has added the 414 area code to the left sleeve of both the home and away jersey. The new jerseys will be on display and make their debut on July 2 vs. LC Aris.
The Torrent has also teamed up with local Milwaukee business Too Much Metal For One Hand in order to add more merchandise and designs to the team store.
Owner and head coach Andy Davi was very pleased with the new partnership. "The Torrent wanted to add something that really signified Milwaukee, and we think that this partnership is ideal. If you are from the area, 414 is one of those things that everyone knows, and to have it on both our home and away jerseys really makes a statement that we are tied to Milwaukee."
Too Much Metal For One Hand owner Fred Gillich issued a statement on the new jersey and partnership with the Torrent: "I've advocated for Milwaukee all of my life. And I recognize the community building that the Milwaukee Torrent are doing to establish roots in the city. I couldn't be happier to partner with such a real, quality organization. In Milwaukee the saying goes: All 414 all."
Too Much Metal For One Hand and the Torrent will continue to collaborate on T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and other 414-related designs. For more information on Too Much Metal For One Hand, visit its website.
