Jeremy Lin did not enjoy losing this bet to Marquette legend and former NBA teammate Steve Novak.

Jeremy Lin begrudgingly sings the Marquette fight song

Marquette continues its drive toward the NIT's Final Four tonight as it plays Penn State at the Al McGuire Center.

And, say what you will, my school (yep, I'm a Marquette guy) is one of only 24 Division I men's college basketball teams still playing in March. Sure, I'd rather be in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament, but wins are wins and any ride to a title is fun.

Speaking of fun, thanks to Fox 6's Ted Perry for bringing this to my attention: It seems former Marquette and NBA sharpshooter (and current Milwaukee Bucks TV analyst) Steve Novak had a bet with his former New York Knicks teammate, Jeremy Lin.

Lin, a Harvard grad who currently plays with the Brooklyn Nets, had to settle a bet with Novak after the first round of the NIT, when MU beat his Harvard Crimson, 67-60.

Lin paid off the wager by singing the Marquette fight song, "Ring out Ahoya," to Novak (and all of us) via Twitter. Watch it below:

Go Marquette!
