Bucks announce NBA Summer League roster, schedule

The Bucks on Monday announced their finalized roster and schedule for the 2018 MGM Resorts Summer League in Las Vegas, which tips off on Friday. Milwaukee's Summer League team is highlighted by 2017 draftees Sterling Brown and D.J. Wilson, along with this year's first-round pick, Donte DiVincenzo.

The 14-man roster is led by Summer League head coach Taylor Jenkins and it also includes James Blackmon Jr. and JeQuan Lewis, who played in 19 and 49 games, respectively, last season with the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks' G League affiliate.

Two players, Tim Quarterman (Louisiana State) and Christian Wood (Nevada Las Vegas), each have two years of NBA experience, while the rest of the roster are recently out of college: Jordan Barnett (Missouri), Trae-Bell Haynes (Vermont), T.J. Cline (Richmond), Perry Ellis (Kansas), Brandon McCoy (UNLV), Jae'sean Tate (Ohio State) and Travis Trice (Michigan State), who played for the Bucks' Summer League team last season too.

Milwaukee's schedule starts July 6 at 6 p.m. against the Summer League entry from the Detroit Pistons. Following that, they have two more games, on Sunday, July 8 against the Dallas Mavericks, and Monday, July 9 against the Denver Nuggets. Following their three preliminary contests, the Bucks, along with the other 29 teams participating in Summer League, will be seeded in a double-elimination tournament, which starts on July 11 and ends with the Championship Game on July 17.

This is the first time that the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League will feature all 30 teams. ESPN networks and NBA TV are combining to televise a record number of games. ESPN will present every game from Las Vegas via the ESPN app, along with a record 46 games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. NBA TV will air 36 games, including each of the Bucks' first two games against Detroit and Dallas.
