Bucks set TV schedule

All you Milwaukee Bucks "shut-ins" will be thrilled to know that all but six games will be televised during the upcoming season.

The team announced the television broadcast schedule, and 75 of the Bucks' 82 regular season games can be seen on either WCGV-TV (Channel 24) in Milwaukee, or Fox Sports Net North, the Bucks cable television partner.

Games on My-24 (formerly known as UPN-24) will include 31 of the Bucks 41 road games, including the season-opener on Nov. 1 at Detroit. FSN North coverage begins with opening night at the Bradley Center on Nov. 4, when as Milwaukee plays host to the Sacramento Kings.

The only games not televised are five afternoon contests and the home game against Memphis on Dec. 8. ESPN will pick up the Bucks-Pistons game Feb. 2 in Detroit.

Back behind the mic are veteran Jim Paschke, calling the action for his 21st year, along with Jon McGlocklin, back for his 31st season as color analyst. FSN plans on offering a pre-game and post-game show called "Bucks Live" with each cable broadcast.

So check your local listings, but add it all up, and that's 35 games on the Bucks Television Network (My24) and 40 games on cable (FSN North).

(Editor's note: Bob Brainerd does sideline work for the Bucks telecasts on FSN North).
