In Holiday Guide

Hey, that's Milwaukee!

"CBS News Sunday Morning" scans a slice of Milwaukee's Pere Marquette Park

Our home DVR records "CBS News Sunday Morning" every week. It's a good, family show to watch together as the Jane Pauley-hosted news magazine entertains and informs in a "60 Minutes" light kind of manner.

On yesterday's (Dec. 16, 2018) episode, Milwaukee got a bit of love as Downtown's Pere Marquette Park and Milwaukee's annual Holiday Lights Festival kick off were included in a segment by Jim Gaffigan.

Gaffigan's "Opinion" segment featured his take on Christmas and a tongue-in-cheek view that the holiday should be moved to a warmer time of year. During the segment, you see a shot of Downtown park full of lights and fireworks. Look closely, and you'll also see the Usinger's sign.

Gaffigan's wife, Jeanne, is a Milwaukee native and the Gaffigan family makes regular trips to Brew City including for many NYE gigs at the Pabst Theater (although he's not performing this year).
