Good City Fest 2017 to celebrate East Side brewery's birthday on June 17

Add another beer-and-music festival to your jam-packed summer calendar. One of the fastest-growing craft breweries on Milwaukee's fast-growing craft-brewery scene, Good City Brewing Company is celebrating its one-year anniversary with an outdoor birthday bash featuring good food, great beer and some of the city's hottest music acts.

The urban brewery and taproom on Monday announced Good City Fest 2017 for Saturday, June 17 at its East Side location, 2108 N. Farwell Ave. Well-organized and ambitious, Good City – which opened last year exactly on the date it said it would – has enjoyed rapid success since that launch, earning national recognition, seeing strong demand for its beer and recently revealing plans for an expanded space, including a rooftop patio. Construction has already begun, and is expected to be completed in early July.

At Good City Fest 2017, the brewery will release two specialty beers, a Barrel-Aged Detail Porter and Dr. J IPA, and serve its savory menu. The music lineup for the event looks pretty tasty, too:

2 p.m.
The Quilz

3 p.m.
Twin Brother

4 p.m.
Sat. Nite Duets

5 p.m.
Platinum Boys

6:10 p.m.

7:30 p.m.
Fever Marlene

Good City Fest 2017 starts at noon and is 21-plus; tickets (general admission costs $10, VIP is $45) are available via The Pabst Theater Group here.
