Summerfest announces Future, Big Sean and Migos headed to the Amp

Hot off the heels of yesterday's Dierks Bentley announcement, Summerfest announced yet another American Family Insurance Amphitheater headliner this afternoon. Or, actually, three headliners in one, as Future, Big Sean and Migos will hit the Big Gig's biggest stage on Saturday, July 8.

The show – presented by V100.7 – will feature a trio of the biggest names currently on the hip hop scene. Atlanta-based Future serves as the event's headlining act, a prolific rapper who's released 11 mixtape and albums since 2012, most recently the records "FUTURE" and "HNDRXX" in February.

Then there's Big Sean, a four-time Grammy nominee who's collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, John Legend, 2 Chains and many more on hit songs like "Mercy," "One Man Can Change the World" and "I Don't F*ck With You." Completing the trifecta is Migos, the Atlanta-based group composed of rappers Quavo, Takeoff and Offset. Together, the three have knocked out several hits, most recently "Bad and Boujee" (which got a sweet shoutout from "Atlanta" creator Donald Glover at the Golden Globes earlier this year).

Tickets for the show – as always, complete with Summerfest admission – will go on sale starting at noon on Friday, April 21. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Summerfest box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers and Walmart stores, as well as online at and over the phone through either the Summerfest box office, (414) 273-2600, a live Ticketmaster agent, (800) 745-3000, or Ticketmaster's automated ticket line, (866) 448-7849.

In addition, the Big Gig will run its typical presale for fans who subscribe to Summerfest's email updates and alerts, as well as follow the festival on Facebook and Twitter. The presale will take place on Wednesday, April 19 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. or until the allotted presale inventory has been exhausted.

Today's announcement leaves only two more American Family Insurance Amphitheater slots left on Summerfest's docket – plus the grounds stage headliners, which should come out any day now (last year, the first deluge came out in late March) Who will join Pink, Tom Petty, the Chainsmokers, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the country trio of Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band and Dierks Bentley? And who else does Summerfest have planned for its 50th? Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee to find out.
