Fiserv Forum serves up brand new Chords & Curds Festival in August
The World's Largest Music Festival may be well over, but Milwaukee summer festival season is nowhere near finished. In fact, we're not even done adding to it – as today Fiserv Forum announced the first Chords & Curds Festival hosted in the plaza on Saturday, Aug. 24.
As the name suggests, the Chords & Curds Festival will bring together local musicians of all genres – from gospel to funk, blues to rock – and local food trucks of all appetites for an all-day celebration, beginning at noon. And best of all, proceeds from the new event will benefit the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.
"We are excited for the community to partake in this unique opportunity to celebrate Milwaukee's talented musicians and to further the admirable mission of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music," said Peter Feigin, president of Fiserv Forum and the Bucks, in a press release.
Performing acts and the menu of food trucks for the Chords & Curds Festival will be announced at a later date, but tickets are already on sale now at Ticketmaster.com as well as the Fiserv Forum ticket office. Admission is $10 for adults, as well as $5 for both children under 12 and attendees over 65 – with VIP options starting at $75.
Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more updates on the Chords & Curds Festival, as well as the rest of summer festival season.
