Ayre in the Square released its lineup of free concerts this afternoon.

Here's your 2018 Ayre in the Square concert lineup

Happy Monday – and boy, looking out the window, it is the Monday-est looking of Mondays we've had in a while. So how about a free summer music series announcement to make it better?

This afternoon, The Friends of Catalano Square announced its lineup for this summer's edition of Ayre in the Square, featuring musical acts from all across the region – from Sheboygan to Chicago to Stevens Point to, yes, Milwaukee.

This year also marks a bit of a change for the free music celebration, ringing in its sixth year. While past Ayre in the Square get-togethers stretched out across eight Thursdays, with two bands performing each night, this year's event will move to Saturday night, with four bands performing each evening across four dates. And, to help make room for the extra music each night, Ayre in the Square will feature extended hours this summer, taking place from 4 until 8 p.m.

But one very important element didn't change: Ayre in the Square shows are still free.

So, with that all out of the way, here's the lineup for this summer's Ayre in the Square, taking place in Catalano Square in the Third Ward.
