OMC has learned that Yaffa expects to open the final weekend of November. The long-vacant Riverwalk restaurant space in the Cawker Building, 108 W. Wells St., that we first reported on in July will be home to the new restaurant, means "beautiful" in Hebrew.

A long-vacant Riverwalk restaurant space in the Cawker Building, 108 W. Wells St., will be home to a new restaurant called "Yaffa" -- which means "beautiful" in Hebrew -- in September. Owner John Chitko promises exotic flavors and an easy vibe.
