In a ranking of the best Complete Streets Policies of 2018, the non-profit, non-partisan National Complete Streets Coalition placed Milwaukee third, noting that, "Milwaukee's policy earned 60 points - it's a solid policy with all of the basics."

The Hank Aaron State Trail is 12 miles of continuously connected bike and walking trails - some are on the street - that connects the lakefront with Milwaukee's West Side. I rode the section of the trail and here is some of what I found along the way.

Anyone who walks around the city will notice that the majority of motorists have either forgotten or are unaware that it is illegal not to stop for a pedestrian at a crosswalk.
