There's been much debate in the parenting world as to whether or not it's appropriate to have a baby shower for any child after the firstborn. A growing trend is to have a "sprinkle," a silly but aptly-chosen word that means a gathering that's lighter, smaller and less fussy than the traditional shower.

Years ago, when I had two baby boys - one strapped to the front of me and one strapped on my back - other parents, usually moms, said, "How do you do it?" or "I don't know how you can do it!" This was always funny to me, because the only way I "did it" was by having no other choice.


Twins opportunity was too good for Provus to pass up

Cory Provus was happy in Milwaukee, where he was able to stay close to his family while working alongside Hall of Famer Bob Uecker, calling Brewers games on the radio. But when the Twins came calling with an offer to be their No. 1 radio voice, it was a no-brainer for Provus, 33, and an opportunity to fulfill a career goal.

Left-hander Manny Parra and the Brewers got pounded in the first game of their interleague series with the Twins -- dubbed "The Border Battle" by the Fox Sports Wisconsin crew. Parra's inconsistency is a concern, but Milwaukee may have more pressing problems in the form of J.J. Hardy's back injury and Bill Hall's hitting slump.
