The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) has reached an agreement to move its offices to The Avenue, and is set to begin occupancy of a space in the newly renovated Milwaukee landmark later this year.
As part of a vision for an enhanced pedestrian experience along North 2nd Street between Michigan Street and Postman's Porch at Wells Street, Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, has partnered with The Avenue on a new mural on the south face of the skywalk that spans the street between Wisconsin Avenue and Michigan Street.
Back in March, we took you inside the former Shops of Grand Avenue mall to show you how work was progressing on converting part of the space into the new 3rd Street Market Hall food hall. Here's a new update on GRAEF's offices in the same former mall area.
Work on the 3rd Street Market Hall is currently in progress. The forthcoming food hall is expected to house as many as 20 tenants, including a fine (of high quality) and dandy (excellent) new concept which will serve up juicy, crisp fried chicken and accompanying sides.

As many as 20 tenants are expected to occupy the forthcoming 3rd Street Market Hall, the food hall planned for The Avenue. Among them will be Milk Can, a burger and custard concept; and Milk Bottle Bakery, a complementary venue which will feature breads, croissants, sandwiches and a selection of deliciously fun desserts.
There's a new coffee bar coming to Downtown sometime in late spring or early summer, and it promises to offer a customer experience unlike any other shop in town.
