Five years ago, Mike Hodges was a criminal stuck in a rut. Now, he has turned his life around with his screen-printing business, Happy Hustlin', one of seven businesses introduced in the third round of Pop-Up MKE, Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service reports.
In June, Pop-Up MKE launched its first slate of temporary retail shops in a trio of locations on the North and South Sides. The second line-up debuts this week.
Pop-Up MKE brings limited-time businesses to three commercial corridors in the city, including South Cesar Chavez Drive on the South Side, North Avenue and North King Drive, and North and Fond du Lac Avenues on the North Side.
