"I'd rather be known for brains than beauty," says Leahy, who is also a successful part-time model. "I should have been a boy," she says, nuzzling her dog in her chic Downtown condo. "I like cars, sports and sex."

Sarah Martini is closing in on the end of her term as "Rock Girl," an annual promotion/contest that 102.9 FM "The Hog" promotes heavily on its station and at area events. Casting calls for the new Rock Girl begin April 23 from 8-10 p.m. at Whiskey Bar, and run through May 6. Then, fans can vote through the station's Web site or through Time Warner Cable On Demand. In June, it gets serious, with finalist events leading up to the crowning of a new Rock Girl on June 25.
Saturday's competition was fierce, but Marteisha Dunson emerged as the winner of Milwaukee's Top Model Search, presented by OnMilwaukee.com and Milwaukee Magazine. The 23-year-old Milwaukee native out-walked nine other finalists for the grand prize package.
This weekend, Glendale's Robyn Derzon will play "Addy" in The American Girl Fashion Show at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Like Addy, Derzon was also granted freedom, but in the form of a supportive family.
