On Monday, Carole Caine of "Dave and Carole" on WKLH-FM 96.5, had her last day on the air. The newly branded "Hometown Rock" station wanted to take the morning show in a new direction.

In the latest fall sweeps, WISN-TV Ch. 12 had more adult viewers between 25 to 54 years of age to watch the 10 p.m. news than any other outlet in the market. The ABC affiliate had a 3.4 rating among the key demo, as WTMJ-TV Ch. 4 had a 2.9, WITI-TV Fox 6 a 2.7 and WDJT-TV CBS 58 a 1.7.

The Milwaukee Radio Alliance, the ownership group behind WLUM-FM 102.1, announced Wednesday that morning show host Jon Adler will create a new show at the station.

On Friday afternoon, WMCS-AM 1290 halted its broadcast stunt of all Elvis Presley music to debut "1290 Martini Radio." Milwaukee Radio Alliance stopped its long-running "Talk of the Town" format that featured local and national African-American progressive talk shows last week Tuesday.
