Washington Park Wheels concert series brings music to the people

Local artists will perform live atop a custom mobile stage designed by Milwaukee Artist Brandon Minga �" a la the FunkClub Wagon �" to perform for Washington Heights residents. The "Washington Park Wheels" performances will be taped and shared on digital formats in August and September.

The FunkClub Wagon has been bringing live music to the streets (and waterways) of the Milwaukee area during the pandemic by performing on a trailer pulled by a van. They'll be in Enderis Park this week.

PNC presents Tunes@Noon, which takes place in the 411 E. Wisconsin Ave. courtyard on Thursdays is back for 2020, but, of course, it's gone virtual, with a series of concerts from July 2 through Sept. 10 that can be enjoyed online.

And on Friday, the band drops the first single from the 15-song album, "The Galleon." "For Those Who Live A Light" will be released on Bandcamp, with the full-length double album coming June 20.
