Brewers, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company partner to benefit MACC Fund

In anticipation of Opening Day, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company has announced that as part of a continued partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation and the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), West Bend will once again donate to each organization when a Brewers player hits a double or a home run at Miller Park.

MACC Fund's June research donations take total since 1976 over $60 million

The MACC Fund contributed $1,387,500 on June 27 to its three beneficiaries, the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. Those took the MACC Fund's total donations since 1976 to over $60 million.

Wagner, who lost his grandfather and his stepfather to cancer, found out he had a rare form of childhood bone cancer in 2007. He is now seven years in remission and has helped to raise $100,000 through an annual event. And, this is just the beginning.

MACC Fund donations bring its total contributions to over $50 million

The MACC Fund, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., will contribute $1.2 million on Monday to its three beneficiaries, the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. These research contributions will take the total of the MACC Fund's contributions since its inception in 1976 to over $50 million.
