You go girl! Wolf Peach owner receives women's leadership fellowship

The James Beard Foundation has announced the members of the inaugural class for the Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (WEL) program. Among the 21 women who will participate in the program is Milwaukee's own Gina Gruenewald, owner of Wolf Peach and Supper.

His first, for a gourmet feature about labor abuses in Florida's tomato fields, led to his acclaimed book "Tomatoland," about how industrial agriculture has ruined one of America's favorite foods.


Bartolotta wins prestigious James Beard Award

Chef Paul Bartolotta just picked up another Oscar, Grammy and MVP award. The Milwaukee native, who operates Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare in the Wynn Las Vegas, won his second James Beard Award.
