Summer festival (announcement) season continues on this week, as Bay View's Chill on the Hill joined the daily Summerfest grounds stage announcements and River Rhythms in unveiling its lineup of local music coming soon to Humboldt Park.

County committee OKs spending to upgrade the Humboldt Park beer garden

If there's one thing a beer garden in Milwaukee really, really needs, it's a good bathroom. This morning, the County Board's Parks Committee voted to match $27,000 already raised to fund repairs and upgrades to the bathrooms at the Humboldt Park Beer pavilion in Bay View.

The "tiny doors" are back in Humboldt Park

In 2013, "tiny doors" were installed at the base of trees in Bay View's Humboldt Park. Shortly after, they were vandalized. Today, OnMilwaukee placed seven tiny doors in the park - go find 'em before they're gone.

Help Global Union raise $15,000

Alverno College's Global Union, a free world music festival, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Humboldt Park. Today, the organizers launched a campaign to raise $15,000 in 15 days to offset costs.
