Racine County Courthouse stands almost like a monument in the center of downtown Racine. As you near it, the numerous carved reliefs on the building's exterior come into focus and you realize how beautiful this striking modern Art Deco structure really is.

This year MPS' H.W. Longfellow School turns 132 years old, making it the second-oldest schoolhouse in service in the district. When I went to check it out I found something even more remarkable.
