Group aims to help single parents in service industry

A few women in the service industry joined forces and started an effort to help out single parents working in their field by collecting donations and raising money to purchase groceries, cleaning products and clothing for moms and dads in need of temporary support.

Fallen officer Matthew Ritnner's name will soon be added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall in D.C. and to contribute to travel expenses for Rittner's family and cow-workers, Uncle Buck's will host a fundraiser during the Packers game.

Every year, the Milwaukee VA Medical Center posts a "wish list" on their website of items for local veterans. When Kyle Mealy saw this list, he knew that with the help of his organization, KarateAmerica, they could cross off most of these items.
