Luv Unlimited in Bay View closes after building fire

Luv Unlimited, the vintage clothing store that also sold everything from accessories to records and more, is closing its Bay View shop after 16 years in business due to a fire above the space suffered on Sunday.

It's been a tough couple of weeks for three Waukesha-based businesses. Spring City Wine House, The Clarke Hotel and The Steaming Cup all sustained damages after a fire broke out in Downtown Waukesha earlier this month. But The Steaming Cup will reopen later this week.

Gypsy Taco pops up at Lucky Joe's

On New Year's Day, OnMilwaukee broke the story that Gypsy Taco, a food truck located year-round on the patio of Boone & Crockett, started on fire. The truck is repairable, but in the mean time, the chef-owner, Mitch Ciohon, will "pop up" at Lucky Joe's Alchemy & Eatery.
