Camp Bar in Shorewood plans expansion

Camp Bar in Shorewood will soon be even bigger and better, thanks to two separate plans approved by the Village of Shorewood. Improvements include the addition of a 40-foot long parklet, adding an additional 20 seats to the current sidewalk patio space.

Jo-Cat's Pub undergoes major renovation, expansion

Jo-Cat's Pub, 1311 E. Brady St., is a family-owned bar that opened in 1978. Currently, it's in the middle of adding a second-floor bar and rooftop patio, along with many other upgrades. However, the goal is to keep the owner-described "dive bar" very similar to how it was, just fresher and larger.


Alterra / Colectivo owners explain name change, share future plans

On Sunday, July 28, Paul Miller, Lincoln Fowler and Ward Fowler - the founders and owners of Alterra Coffee - announced to their employees that the name of the company is changing to Colectivo Coffee.
