Though I've had a yen for wings of late, I'm not all that familiar with Buffalo Wild Wings, which before last week I'd visited exactly once, for this. Last week, flying solo for dinner with the kids, I was in the mood for wings and whether or not it's possible, I decided I wasn't going to bring them to McGinn's or Leff's or Club Garibaldi for dinner. We weren't far from the Mayfair Road BW3, so we stopped in. Here are a few things I learned.

Every time I suggest we go out to eat, the kids want to go to one place: Noodles & Company.

After a couple visits we've come to realize that Joey's Seafood and Grill on the northeast tip of Brookfield, 12455 W. Capitol Dr. can be that go-to place for families when parents don't want to eat fast food or at a diner but, at the same time, know that their kids aren't quite ready for Eddie Martini's.

Sometimes the outward signs at a restaurant can be deceiving. Take Mason Street Grill, located in The Pfister Hotel, for example. It might not seem like a place for little diners, but on a recent visit we learned that's absolutely untrue.
