Despite what you've heard, Milorganite is not made out of human feces. When I took a tour of the Jones Island plant, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District agency services director Jeff Spence and public information manager Bill Graffin want to dispel that myth.

Stormwater initiative will green Milwaukee Public Museum entrance

While some in Milwaukee are thinking about the long-range outlook for the future of the Milwaukee Public Museum and its home at 800 W. Wells St., the museum is partnering with The Green Team of Wisconsin to revitalize its Wells Street entrance.

It's city vs. suburbs for UW-Milwaukee as the latter decides how to expand its landlocked campus. While UWM officials appear to favor a site in Wauwatosa for its College of Engineering and Science, Milwaukee officials want the school to look Downtown.
