Billed as "an evening of frivolity and food for gay and straight friends," My Best Friend is Straight is the Cream City Foundation's seventh annual summer party and fundraiser. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the North Point Lighthouse with after-party at Club Charlie's.

Earlier this month, The Cream City Foundation, an LGBT organization based in Milwaukee, launched a billboard campaign in southeastern Wisconsin featuring local gay families. OnMilwaukee.com interviewed a few of the teens featured in the billboards.
