If Cirque du Soleil's first ice show, "Crystal," opened looking a little bit like a fairly typical skating exhibition, it quickly redefined itself as classic Cirque, with a mix of gorgeous lighting, evocative music, stunning acrobatic feats, quirky choreography and a dash of humor.

"Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away" would've been better off just selling itself as a greatest hits collection instead of incorporating a story that's like trying to put together a puzzle whose pieces are slowly melting into a pile of mush. That being said, it is a pretty impressive pile of mush.
