"OK, but I'll either pass out or I'll want to make a film," said director Chip Duncan during his first visit to an anatomy lab. Thankfully it ended up being the latter, with the filmmaker premiering his new documentary, "The First Patient," at the 2018 Milwaukee Film Festival.
Milwaukee filmmaker, photographer and author Chip Duncan and his Nairobi, Kenya-based colleague Salim Amin will be on hand at a reception celebrating a joint photography exhibit at the Charles Allis Art Museum on Friday, May 18.
Just like most of us do, Chip Duncan started at the bottom. He went from painting studio floors and sets at the NBC affiliate in Madison to being an award-winning documentary filmmaker, author, lecturer and president of The Duncan Group, Inc., based in Milwaukee.
