PNC presents Tunes@Noon, which takes place in the 411 E. Wisconsin Ave. courtyard on Thursdays is back for 2020, but, of course, it's gone virtual, with a series of concerts from July 2 through Sept. 10 that can be enjoyed online.

Bus Art Project MKE adds works to two Downtown MCTS bus shelters

Since it launched last spring the Milwaukee County Transit System's Bus Shelter Art Project has proved popular and there are now nine artworks installed on bus shelters in Bay View, Riverwest, Walker's Point and South Milwaukee. The program has just expanded to include two works on Downtown shelters, too.

Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21's board of directors has voted to support Mayor Barrett's current $123.9 million streetcar plan. The motion to endorse the initiative was approved at the Dec. 4 board of directors meeting.

To celebrate Debra Usinger's life and her dedication to civic life in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee RiverWalk District initiated and yesterday dedicated a memorial to honor her. The memorial is, appropriately, part of the RIverWalk that is directly across the river from Usinger's Famous Sausage.
