In the two-and-a-half years Amy Bladow has been serving drinks in Milwaukee, her bar - Bar None - has become a staple on Water Street. Bar None isn't Bladow's first rodeo, either. The Colorado native has spent plenty of time behind the bar in Madison, where she played volleyball at the University of Wisconsin.

Water Street's newest watering hole is a small, no-frills bar that prides itself on the basics: stiff drinks, good atmosphere and great customer service. Since opening four weeks ago, general manager Amy Bladow has seen her business improve steadily and is hoping to make her establishment as much of a Water Street legacy as her well-known neighbors.
