The American Hockey League announced its annual Team Business Service awards on Friday, recognizing outstanding achievements in a variety of categories, and the Milwaukee Admirals won for Outstanding Fan Experience in the Western Conference.

The Big 920 is Milwaukee Admirals' new radio home

Starting this season, the Admirals will have a new radio home. On Thursday, iHeartMedia Milwaukee's The Big 920 announced a broadcast partnership with the Admirals, taking over the rights Sports Radio 1250 WSSP held since 2007 to air all of the team's games.

Admirals hire former Stars assistant Karl Taylor as new head coach

The Milwaukee Admirals have hired Karl Taylor to be their new head coach. He comes to Milwaukee after spending the past four seasons with the AHL's Texas Stars as an assistant. Taylor replaces Dean Evason, who left to become an assistant with the NHL's Minnesota Wild.
