MPS' Pulaski High earns International Baccalaureate status

On Thursday, Milwaukee Public Schools' Casimir Pulaski High School, 2500 W. Oklahoma Ave., will officially receive its authorization as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme school, joining 27 other schools in the state with that distinction.


College scholarships to MPS grads soar

So far this year, MPS students have earned upwards of $86 million in college scholarships and that number will continue to rise as colleges continue to report the numbers. That's more than $24 million than last year.


Posley steps in today as MPS interim superintendent

After outgoing superintendent Dr. Darienne Driver was unexpectedly released early from her contract by the Milwaukee Board of School Directors at its meeting on Thursday night, interim superintendent Dr. Keith Posley's first day is now today.
