At Crafty Cow, you can order up any number of lavishly topped burgers featuring ingredients like prime rib, peanut butter, pork belly and a host of other options. But, we stuck to the basics and ordered the Lucy, an homage to the original Jucy Lucy burger.

There are a number of burgers from which to choose on the Brass Monkey menu, but when we found their most popular burger is actually the Pub Burger, a double cheeseburger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo, it seemed like a no brainer.

The Mainstream burger took center stage next to a healthy pile of crisp, skin-on french fries. The burger stood tall exposing its toppings which included melted American cheese, shredded lettuce, a thick slice of tomato, ketchup, mustard and pickles.

This week, the burger trail led us to the East Side where we made a stop at Hooligan's Super Bar, a cornerstone of Milwaukee's East Side since 1936 ... and, as it turns out, a pretty fair spot to get satiation for the occasional burger craving.
