The Wisconsin Historical Society has listed the West St. Paul Avenue Industrial Historic District, in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley, on the State Register of Historic Places, making properties there eligible for historic tax credits, which help offset costs associated with restoring historic buildings.

The 2017 Fall Youth Soccer Festival is this Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Viaduct Fields in the Menomonee Valley. The Festival is for all kids ages 7-13 and is completely free. It hopes to help unite different parts of Milwaukee's local soccer and city development communities.

On Friday, folks from Menomonee Valley Partners, City of Milwaukee, Design 2 Construct, Paradigm Real Estate and BMO Harris were on hand as Plum Media President Rich Schmig turned the ceremonial shovel of dirt on the project to restore a 1920s Milwaukee building and turn it into Plum's new home.
