Milwaukee County Zoo's three tiger cubs make public debut

The Milwaukee County Zoo's three Amur tiger cubs made their public debut today in the Florence Mila Borchert Big Cat Country. The cubs, one male and two females, have been named: Kashtan, Eloise and Bernadette. They were born Sept. 14 to mother, Amba, and father, Strannik.


OMG tiger babies! Milwaukee Zoo announces birth of three Siberian cubs

The Milwaukee County Zoo announced a cuddly infusion of tiny feline cuteness on Wednesday, revealing that three Siberian tigers were recently born. The cubs, who are not yet named, were born Sept. 14 to mother Amba and male Strannik, both of whom are 13 years old.


A free week of admission at the Zoo

Construction crews will begin working Monday to replace three 40-year-old bridges that were deemed unsafe during a summer inspection. Since the Zoo Interchange is the busiest interchange in the state, officials are hoping to limit disruption by staying "tight" to the existing footprint and limiting lane closures to nights and weekends.
