Part of the “soul-revival” movement with their own style of Memphis flavored soul, roots, and blues! This FREE concert is held outside on THELMA’s Plaza. The street is closed in front of THELMA on Sheboygan St. Enjoy music, drinks, and have fun with friends! Games are available! Who doesn’t love life-size Jenga or a great game of Corn-Hole? Food will also be available. Formed in late 2010, Tweed featuring Gervis Myles (formerly known as Tweed Funk) garnered national attention with the release of 4 albums and dates throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southern United States. With Gervis Myles on board, the band recorded, mixed, and released “Love Strong” in just 8 days, a 10 track album featuring 9 original songs. 2019 WAMI nominee for R&B/Soul Artist, Tweed has appeared at some of the top festivals and blues rooms in the Midwest, South, and Northeast. In 2018, Tweed successfully toured Europe performing shows in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Austria, and Slovakia. Another tour of Europe is currently being assembled for fall of 2019. Thursday, June 25 Concert at 7 pm Bar opens at 6 pm THELMA’s Plaza Free admission Parking is free throughout the district on evenings and weekends.
