Dec. 6, 2018 5:00 p.m. - Dec. 24, 2018, 1:00 a.m. at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, 8425 Hwy 38 Caledonia, WI 53108
Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort is bringing back The Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights to Southeastern Wisconsin this year, open Nov. 24–Dec. 31.
Families can explore and experience Wisconsin’s largest drive-through light display filled with 1.5 million twinkling lights from the comfort of their vehicles or from Santa’s open-air sleigh. The Carnival of Lights is organized and run by local, family-owned and operated Jellystone Park in Caledonia.
Visitors will enjoy new moving light displays, and will be dazzled as the lights dance to new holiday music. “Evy the Talking Christmas Tree,” a popular, animatronic, seven-foot character will return to Santa’s Workshop, singing and speaking with children. Guests can also warm up with hot chocolate, write Santa a letter, or even meet the jolly man himself.
Families interested in visiting with Santa can find hours at http://wichristmascarnival.com/workshop. Guests also have the option to see the light show aboard Santa’s giant sleigh, which offers a unique open-air experience. Families feel even closer to the displays as the sleigh travels through the mile-long light show with up to 43 guests, in tiered and comfortable seating.
Reservations to ride on the sleigh can be made at www.wichristmascarnival.com/sleighrides.
The Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights is open Nov. 24–Dec. 31, with the exception of Christmas Day. Hours are 5–9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 5–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
