The classic 1985 film "The Goonies" will be one of the movies screened at this year's Peck Flicks at Peck Pavilion.

Catch a free, family friendly flick this summer at Peck Pavilion

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts has announced Peck Flicks at Peck Pavilion, a new free movie series for families on select Friday evenings this summer.

The series offers family friendly, rated G or PG, movies that'll appeal to everyone at the Downtown location. This year's schedule includes:

July 25: The Muppet Movie
Aug. 15: The Sandlot
Aug. 22: The Goonies

Seating in the bowl opens at 6 p.m. and movies start at approximately 7:45 p.m. or dusk.

There will be general admission seating, but no carry-in food or beverages will be allowed. Instead, food and beverages will be available for purchase from Sazama's Fine Catering on the new River's Edge Patio.
