Spectre Vintage furniture shop opening in Bay View this week

Local musician Steven Hawley – of Codebreaker fame – has a new vintage shop in Bay View.

Spectre Vintage is, according to the page Hawley has created on Facebook, "A chic, unique furniture boutique specializing in MCM, vintage mod and other timeless classics."

Located at 437 E. Stewart St. – two blocks east of Santino's, a block from Barnacle Bud's – the independently owned furniture, art and home accessories shop will have an official grand opening event on Friday, from noon until 7 p.m.

"I do a fair amount of restoration/refurbish work, as well," says Hawley. "I also carry select lines of new things if it has a look and quality that I like and goes well with the vintage inventory. I also have a Ms. Pac-Man machine that's loaded up with 60 different '80s arcade games."

Parking is available in the small parking lot on the corner of Stewart and Allis Streets, Hawley says.

The shop will be open Thursday-Saturday, noon until 6 p.m. and by appointment only Sunday-Wednesday.
