5 fashion New Year's resolutions you should make for 2018
Happy new year! Now that 2018 has arrived, everyone is starting their New Year's resolutions. Most are to hit the gym more or drink less caffeine or something to that extent. But how about also adding some fashion resolutions into the mix to make sure you have the most stylish year yet.
1. Change up your color pallette
We all have our go-to colors. For me, it's black and grey. This year, try to add some more color to your wardrobe. Hint: The color of the year is electric purple.
2. Set out of your comfort zone
So many women don't try certain styles because they are insecure about certain parts of their body. This year instead, try to embrace your flaws and rock the styles you've been afraid to try!
3. Make everyday your runway
Make a conscious effort to get dressed and look your best every single day. Put thought into your outfits, plan them out and rock them. Even if it's just to run errands, rock that cute athleisure look that has been in your closet and look fab in some active chic looks.
4. Shop your closet
Most of us have amazing pieces in our closets that we never wear. This year, try to shop your own closet and create looks that you haven't worn before. Mix and match patterns and textures to put together new looks with pieces you already have.
5. Break the rules
If you like an item, ROCK IT! Wear white after Labor Day, rock a bold lip to work, have fun with your looks. Because confidence is the best thing you can wear – and rules are meant to be broken.
