Six ways to spend your tax refund locally
Most of us have absolutely no problem spending money, but if your tax refund is burning a hole in your pocket here are six local ways to blow it – and feel good about it.
1. Get a new lawnmower from Briggs & Stratton
Turns out there was grass under all that snow after all. Perhaps this calls for a new lawn mower from Briggs & Stratton?
2. Donate it
No matter how much or how little we have, there is always something we can give. Use your tax return to support one of the great Milwaukee nonprofits. It'll feel awesome.
3. Take a Funjet vacation
We'll still get a few snowflakes before summer rolls around, so an all-inclusive vacation destination will bring hot weather sooner than Wisconsin is capable of doing.
4. Invest in your child's future with EdVest
Boring? Yeah, but instant gratification isn't always worth it. Saving, however, definitely is – especially when it goes toward the futures of our loved ones. You'll never regret it.
5. Splurge on Bucks season tickets
'Tis the season to be an even bigger Bucks fan, so treat yourself to season tickets and support your favorite local NBA team in the process. Do it for Giannis!
6. Buy a Harley-Davidson
Rev up your cool cred just in time for spring by finally getting a motorcycle from Harley-Davidson. Oh and you should probably learn to ride the thing, too.
