100 things to love about fall in Milwaukee
The first official day of fall – Sept. 22 – is creeping closer on our calendars. But just because the summer is ending doesn't mean the fun does too. As proof, we offer this list of 100 great things about autumn (in no particular order).

Salmon run... If you ever catch it, you'll not forget it. Then, there will be deer hunting! What an exciting time fall and winter (and spring to some degree) are.

Fall's not too bad until about November 1. Then I wish I could hibernate until Memorial Day.

Don't forget bird migration. Redstarts, flickers, warblers of all sorts, vireos, and many other birds traveling south along the lakeside flyway and stopping for seeds, insects, and suet.
