The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is the only area museum designed specifically for kids under 10. The museum uses hands-on exhibits and role playing to stimulate learning.

Children can explore the workings of the human body, learn about economics and commerce, create their own toys and even produce their own television show. There is also the "play port" for toddlers ages three and under.

Group tours are welcome with advance reservations.

Be A Maker: Art Studio

The Betty Brinn Childrenís Museumís Be A Maker (BAM) space is a communal workshop space, free to experience with regular admission. Families can attend an Art Studio session to create unique projects with dry, wet and textured materials. Recommended for children ages 4 and older.

Our Five Senses: Recommended for children age 3 and older

The Betty Brinn Childrenís Museumís offers weekly programs for visitors, free with regular admission. In Our Five Senses, children can learn about how we communicate by exploring sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing.

Visitors can enjoy open play with RIGAMAJIG, the Museumís large-scale building kit that helps children develop problem-solving skills, cognitive thinking and imagination through hands-on exploration. Recommended for children age 3 and older.

Stories and Songs with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music

The Betty Brinn Childrenís Museumís offers weekly programs for visitors, free with regular admission. Childrenís imaginations will soar as they read and re-create storybook tales through drama, music and dance with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Recommended for children of all ages.

Pint-Size Science: Recommended for children ages 2-5

The Betty Brinn Childrenís Museumís offers weekly programs for visitors, free with regular admission. Pint-Size Science includes hands-on experiments to demonstrate that science is everywhere.
