Seth Meyers will headline the JCC's seventh annual Laugh It Up Milwaukee on Saturday night.

Seth Meyers performs comedy for a cause at Laugh It Up MKE this weekend

Whether it's at a brilliantly crafted punchline or a perfectly timed fart, laughter feels good – quite literally, as studies have shown laughing releases endorphins. And Saturday night, it'll feel even better as the Jewish Community Center (JCC) will host Laugh It Up Milwaukee, a night of comedy for a cause, at The Pabst Theater.

The event, an annual fundraiser celebrating its seventh year of celebrating and bringing organizations together with laughter, will take place at 8:15 p.m. with special guest Seth Meyers, formerly of "SNL" and currently the host of NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers," serving as the evening's headline performer.

Meyers previously headlined Laugh It Up Milwaukee in 2012.

Each year, the JCC joins with a partner beneficiary for the Laugh It Up Milwaukee fundraiser. Past choices include Gilda's Club of Southeastern Wisconsin (2012), Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (2013), MACC Fund (2014), Hunger Task Fund (2015), Special Olympics (2016) and Safe & Sound (2018). For this year's edition, Laugh It Up will benefit Running Rebels, an organization that aims to prevent involvement in gangs, drugs, violence and the juvenile justice system by engaging and assisting the community, youth and their families through transitions into adulthood.

Doors open for Laugh It Up at 7 p.m., with Meyers' show beginning at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale at The Pabst Theater website as well as the Jewish Community Center's website.

OnMilwaukee is a proud sponsor of the JCC's Laugh It Up Milwaukee.
